WHO WE ARE
The peaceful 2005 demonstrations proved that the majority of Lebanese citizens want to live in a stable, pluralistic democracy, free from radicalism and foreign intervention.
The Lebanon Renaissance Foundation, Inc. ("the Foundation") is an independent, non-governmental and non-sectarian educational organization whose founders were involved through their own professional activities in advancing the practice of non-violence and democratic activism. The Foundation strongly believes that the private sector and the Diaspora are uniquely positioned to assist in Lebanon's national rebuilding process.
The Lebanon Renaissance Foundation, a non–profit organization, was established in Washington, DC. The Foundation is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. tax code. Gifts by U.S. donors to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
